Versuchslabor Kinderheim is a eight-part investigative series that unfolds the harrowing saga of how, for three decades after the horrific human experiments carried out by the Nazis, West Germany’s most vulnerable children continued to be subjected to frivolous pharmaceutical testing and unchecked medical abuse in children’s homes all over the country. I pitched and produced this series alongside colleagues for the national broadcaster Deutschland Funk.
